I begin by showing the students pictures and ask them to tell me the words they know (prince, princess, king, queen, castle, stepmother, sisters, dragon, spell…)
Then I tell them the story of Cinderella with pictures and a short text and talked about the storyline.
(I found the story with pictures on the Internet and showed it to them using transparencies.)
Next the students got the text which had been cut into single sentences and they had to put them into the correct order. They did this in groups.
